Fortingall Byre

FORTINGALL BYRE is a charming three bedroom single-storey courtyard cottage, sleeping up to six, furnished to a comfortably high standard in the beautiful village of Fortingall, next to the award-winning hotel and ancient Yew Tree. Eight miles from Aberfeldy, it is a perfect base for a magical holiday.

The master bedroom boasts an extremely comfortable king-sized bed and luxury en-suite bathroom; the other two bedrooms are twins and there is a large family bathroom. Both bathrooms have baths with overhead power showers. The living accommodation is open plan with a sitting area with a lovely wood burning stove and patio doors to a small quiet garden, backing onto woodland. There is also a dining area, sitting six and a kitchen equipped with everything you should need.

The historic village of Fortingall is unique in Scotland, its single road lined with thatched cottages mirroring the ribbon of the River Lyon which meanders down from beautiful Glen Lyon towards Aberfeldy. The area's tranquility is noted by many and visitors find a peace here which oftens makes them return time and time again.

The Byre welcomes well-behaved dogs and there is also a travel cot and child's booster high chair available if required.
