Red Deer Centre - from the shelter of The Red Deer Barn, stroke, feed and photograph these magnificent and iconic animals in the company of our knowledgeable Safari Rangers. Meet Ossian our Barn Owl in a hands on demonstration and have fun learning the secrets of this captivating bird of the night.

Pan for Gold in our all-weather Gold Panning flume, Explore the Discovery Trail, get lost in Rua’s Maze, play in our Tractor Park and Play Park or take in the sights from our picturesque view point, you can easily spend a whole day at Highland Safaris!

Armed with cameras and binoculars, climb aboard your Land Rover or Pinzgauer and journey to the high tops through a land sculptured by the elements and steeped in history, culture, nature, and breath-taking views with no shortage of photo opportunities. You may even be lucky enough to see the Majestic Red Deer, the Famous Grouse, the elusive Mountain Hare or the soaring Golden Eagle as you travel through forests, mountains and moors on private hill tracks.

walkingringsThe Walking Rings of Breadalbane

Discover walking routes that take you to the heart of our beautiful area, with graded day sections suited to all levels of ability and ambition.

golftrailThere are four 18-hole and five 9-hole courses in the Breadalbane area, plus a 9-hole par-3 course. All of these beautiful courses enjoy spectacular settings and scenery and lie on the "Ring of Breadalbane" circular tourist route.
The Ring of Breadalbane Golf Trail also forms the backdrop to the 2014 Ryder Cup competition.  The 10 courses lie between 10 and 35 miles from the Gleneagles Centenary course where the competition takes place.

anglingThe national open season for brown trout fishing runs from 15th March to 6th October. The salmon season varies from river to river. Although there is no national rod licence in Scotland, a permit to fish is generally required.
Within the Breadalbane area you can fish the Tay, Lyon, Earn and Forth river systems plus a number of lochs to the east, south and west.
